Margarita Garcia
Co-Founder & Co-Owner | Chief of Curriculum, Operations & Brand
A lifelong Hoboken resident, Margarita Garcia was born and raised in the community where she continues to serve and love today.
Margarita is a proud Hoboken High School alumna. Margarita later pursued Business studies at Saint Peter’s University in Jersey City.
For over a decade, Margarita served as the Summer Camp, Aftercare, and Enrichment Coordinator at Hoboken Dual Language Charter School (HoLa), where she championed bilingual education and created meaningful experiences that celebrate cultural diversity. Her previous roles include Unit Director at the Hoboken Boys and Girls Club and co-teacher at Stevens Cooperative School, further reflecting her commitment to youth development.
Margarita’s journey and passion in co-founding, creating, and shaping Little Linguists' curriculum began with a simple, heartfelt goal: to create a space where her own son could learn and thrive in a nurturing Spanish environment.
Margarita currently serves as a board member for Community Lifestyle, a nonprofit supporting Hoboken youth, where she continues to advocate for strong, connected families and accessible community programs.
In 2025, during Hispanic Heritage Month, the City of Hoboken honored Margarita with a proclamation recognizing her dedication and impact on the local community.
At the heart of Margarita’s work is her deep belief in the power of language immersion to shape confident, culturally aware children. As a proud mother of three bilingual children, she brings both personal and professional passion to her mission of nurturing multilingual families and strengthening community bonds to her role of Director of Little Linguists.
